I remember a few years ago somone talking about females chin fur chewing while they where pregnant. Now could this be a hormone thing? could she be missing something in her diet? Or maybe she doesn't like to be pregnant. Also if you find out that you fav chin one that has awsome babies does this would you ever use her again? Kaylee is due like any day I feel the kick real strong. When I had her out I did see that she has been chewing a spot on one side. I love her and he last baby turned out so nice. I don't know what I should do she is almost 5 years now should I retire her and keep her as a pet? Or is it just a hormonal thing and it is safe to still use her? I just don't know what to do. I know this baby she is carring now will be staying here.

Are you sure it's chewing? Since she's pregnant, it could be that she's been laying on her side funny or rubbing up against the cage funny. Is it a large patch?

Pictures are kind of fuzzy so it looks like she's just been laying on her side, to me.

Is she by herself? Could another chinnie be chewing her?

It's a possibility that the stress of carrying babies could make her chew...It's really tough to tell Sad Keep us posted, though!
